The Semomok leaf, a local plant, adds a natural aroma and flavor to the food.

 

Students will learn about how nature provided both tools and ingredients for daily living in traditional communities.

This is a traditional game that represents a man’s determination and ability when seeking to marry a woman.

 

To prove his worth, the man must untie himself from a rattan knot — showing skill, patience, and intelligence.

 

Through this game, students can understand how traditional values of courage and responsibility were expressed in cultural practices.

Tali Dendan

(Head Weaving)

The Tali Dendan is a woven headband worn during festive or ceremonial events.
 

 

It symbolizes honor, respect, and celebration — often used to welcome important guests or mark joyous occasions.
